About Kirk

A lifetime of perspective brought to the practice of law.

Kirk A. Beler was born and raised in Southern Alberta. His path to law was not a straight line. Before being called to the Alberta Bar in 2000, Kirk served as a military officer, worked as a senior business manager, supported young people as a youth worker, and served as a correctional officer.

That breadth of experience is the foundation of how he practices today. Kirk has seen the full spectrum of human circumstance, and he brings that perspective to every file. Whether he is helping a young family buy their first home, guiding a business owner through restructuring, or walking a family through the loss of a parent, the work is steady, clear, and human.

For more than 25 years, Kirk has built a practice rooted in Lethbridge that serves clients across nine areas of law. The practice is intentionally diverse so that clients can bring most of their legal needs to one trusted advisor. The approach is consistent across every area: listen carefully, explain clearly, and provide advice that is practical and personal.

Kirk is committed to Lethbridge. He has invested in the community through service on local boards, support for legal aid and access to justice work, and ongoing mentorship of newer lawyers. The High Level Bridge that gives the firm its name is more than a landmark. It is a reminder that the work of building something durable is what matters.
